Zero Stars. This groomer had absolutely no experience with a larger or anxious dog. Upon arrival, she told me that she didn’t have any water in the truck and she handed me two small buckets that she said she needed me to fill with warm water in order to wash and rinse my almost 90 pound German Shepherd husky mix. She then proceeded to lightly brush my dog with a brush that was not appropriate for her thick double coat when I even paid extra for a Deshedding. After about 45 minutes, she tried to return my dog, soaking wet, her coat still very much shedding no nail trim or teeth brush which I paid for as well. She told me that she couldn’t dry her because she doesn’t like the blow dryer and was barking. After I informed her that she needs to be brushed out more and dried. She responded with “oh I didn’t know” and took her back and was just lightly brushing her with the wrong brush. After about 15 minutes of this my husband had enough, and he went in the truck himself and quickly blow dr

I received a text saying the groomer’s eta was noon even though the appointment time was 130 She arrived at 1240 . She said her water was frozen and could I fill her small pail with warm water .I asked why she came if she did not have water. I said is that all she was going to use. She said it was enough and she proceeded to show me pics of bigger dogs she groomed with the same amount of water. I told her Buddy did not like the dryer and asked if she had a towel to dry him .She said not really so I gave her a big towel. When he came back in,he was soaking wet. It took me 2 hours to dry him with warm towels from the dryer. The haircut was good but the rest of the service was horrific.

the groomer showed up over an hour late. my dog has mats all over her legs even though i was charged $30 for dematting services. the hair cut is uneven, my dog is still damp when returned to me even though i paid a fee for drying. I was charged $35 for a “cold weather” service that wasn’t performed, the groomer used my sink to bathe my dog claiming the service charge was for hot water usage and said it would be refunded, it was not. communication was a challenge due to a strong language barrier. for $263.00, I am furious. i have never used GroomIt services before, and I never will again. this was pure theft and robbery of my money and customer support can’t help because the “groomers are independent contractors”.
